L'ancien président suisse Alain Berset a été élu nouveau secrétaire général du Conseil de l'Europe.
Le mandat d'Alain Berset, âgé de 52 ans, débutera le 18 septembre. Il remplacera la représentante de la Croatie, Marija Pejčinović-Burić.
M. Berset a été président de la Suisse du 1er janvier au 31 décembre 2023.
